Get The Festive Feeling with the Christmas Art Carousal Exhibition
Art lovers are set to descend on London in December, as The Gallery on the Corner in Battersea hosts Art Carousel Contemporary Christmas Ride, a unique and contemporary exhibition filled with modern artwork, sculpture, fashion and design works. Hosted by Giulia Demichelis, the opening of the fantastic new event will take place on Saturday 14th December, and will feature live music, mulled wine and Christmas crackers – the perfect recipe for a festive gallery opening.
Giulia Demichelis, host of the event, says, “We are thrilled to be bringing Art Carousel Contemporary Christmas Ride to Battersea. Perfect for collectors, artists, amateur art-lovers, and even those who simply want to enjoy a unique evening in the run-up to Christmas, the exhibition will feature cutting-edge contemporary work from a host of talented designers and artists, with sales to be made on the night and a fantastic selection of Christmas gifts to be chosen from.”
Whether searching for a unique Christmas gift for a loved one, or simply heading down to enjoy the atmosphere and the wonderful display of creative work on show, the atmosphere at the venue will be fun and festive. Celebrating all things artistic and Christmas-related, the unique party is a veritable festive cocktail of creativity and frivolity.
The exhibition runs for just one week only, and pieces will be in high demand, so those who hope to treat themselves to some beautiful new artwork for Christmas, or those who have a special space reserved in their home for a stunning sculpture or design piece are encouraged to get down early and enjoy the atmosphere. The opening event will feature live music from Andrea Marin, as well as free festive beverages, mince pies and Christmas crackers to pull with other attendees.
The Gallery on the Corner has played host to a myriad of exciting exhibitions in the past, and is one of the most revered and in-demand spaces in central London. Transport links serve the venue superbly; situated right in front of the Battersea Park train station, and a two minute walk from the much larger Victoria train station, the venue is hard to miss.
Opening hours for the event will be 10am – 9pm, with Happy Hour taking place from 6pm – 9pm every night; free mulled wine and mince pies for all guests! The final day of the show will come to a close at 12.00pm so that those pining for a specific piece will have time to nab it before the exhibition closes.
